Did a good job fixing my F150 quickly when it would not start and was towed into thier garage. I was a little dissapointed in the pricing models - charged me $379.99 for a remanufactured starter motor which seems a little high. In addition 100% of all labor was charged at "diagnostic" rate of $170/hr. I would have expected to see some of that charged to general repair...plus $49.99 for shop supplies. It all adds up... -$790.88 total.
Andrew, Thanks for the feedback. To be clear, our diagnostic rate for this repair and the actual repair rate happen to be the same. There are some circumstances that the diagnostic would be higher. I was glad to see the team turned your vehicle around in only a day and a half from being towed in. Often our appt schedule is booked well beyond that, like so many shops. Vehicle repair certainly does add up, it amazes me the changes I have seen in my 40 years here. I do owe you an apology for you not being told of the total expense before the repair. For decades is has been our policy to do so. There is no excuse. Kyle happens to be new with us, we are fortunate to have him. He is however still learning our culture. Please be assured that if we have the opportunity to provide service to you again, you will participate in the decision process well ahead of getting a final invoice. I thank you Alvin Chase, President
